This weekend I went beyong biking to work and around town. I went pretty far. Not the farthest I have ever gone but close. It should have kicked my ass and it didn't. That made me proud. That proved to myself, that yes I can do this. I am making progress.
IT was kinda awesome.
Around 35 miles, with a huge ass hill. The hill was rough but I knew if I stopped pedaling I wouldn't have made it.
Why am I training?
Seattle to Portland, 204 mile bike ride over two days.
Team in Training, to raise money for the Leukemia and lymphoma society.
So two challenges rolled into one. Bike a lot of miles over two days and raise $2,400 which will make a difference in a cancer patient life. Both challenges are going to be rough, but I can do it. I have faith in myself.
You can do it. I believe in you.
